DPBC’s Julie Downs Payne Toasts to Philanthropy
On February 10, 2026, Julie Downs Payne joined a panel of speakers for A Toast to Philanthropy - Know Before You Go for Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The panel, including Serious Sip, LLC and Birdie’s Wine Shop owner Kelly Boutwell and financial advisor Christy Smith toasted to friendship, philanthropy, and gratitude, and discussed legacy creation. Julie Downs “J.D.” Payne has been with Dodson, Parker, Behm, and Capparella since 2021, assisting clients in building and passing their wealth in the most advantageous way possible. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law and a Master of Laws from Villanova University School of Law. She is also a board member of the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee.
