DPBC Names Candi Henry Managing Partner
Dodson Parker Behm & Capparella, PC is pleased to announce that Candi Henry has been named managing partner of the firm, effective July 1. Henry will take the reins from Tyler Chance Yarbro, who has been tapped by Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell to be the city’s next Director of Law.
“It has been a privilege to serve as managing partner for the last eight years, and I’m grateful to my colleagues for their trust and teamwork,” Yarbro said. “Candi is the right leader for this moment—she’s thoughtful, client-focused, and deeply invested in our firm’s culture and public service values.”
Henry, who re-joined the firm in January, most recently served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Greater Nashville Regional Council, advising the 13-county governmental entity and its affiliated organizations on their broad portfolio of public services. Previously, she spent more than ten years with the firm. She began her career clerking for the Honorable William C. Koch Jr. on the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
A long-time leader in the Nashville legal community, Henry is a member of the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court, a fellow of the Tennessee Bar Association YLD, and a Trustee of the Nashville Bar Foundation, for which she serves as General Counsel.
Of Henry’s appointment, founding partner Margaret L. Behm said:
“Candi typifies the judgment and deep commitment to the community that have defined this firm from its beginning more than 40 years ago. She has earned the trust of her colleagues and clients, and I’m proud to see her step into the managing partner role.”
As managing partner, Henry will oversee DPBC’s day-to-day administration while maintaining her litigation and transactional practice at the firm.
