Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association Recognizes Donald Capparella

At its 2018 annual convention in Memphis, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers’ Association recognized Donald Capparella for his advocacy.  Capparella was counsel of record for Dedmon v. Steelman, the 2017 Tennessee Supreme Court case that preserved the “collateral source rule.”  The rule helps ensure that injured people can recover the full value of the medical bills they are charged.

The TTLA works to protect the civil justice system while advocating for accountability and the rights of all citizens. It does that by upholding and defending the Constitution of the United States, advancing the science of jurisprudence, promoting the administration of justice for the public good, and upholding the honor and dignity of the profession of law.

Donald is a long time member of the TTLA . For the 2018-2019 year, he will serve as editor of the Association’s magazine.
