Behm Elected to Board of Directors for Project Transformation Tennessee

March 9, 2015

Margaret L. Behm has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors for Project Transformation Tennessee.  The non-profit organization promotes leadership development in college-age young adults through summer and year-long service internships and provides community-oriented after-school and summer day camp programming for children and youth from low-income neighborhoods.

This year, Project Transformation will hire 46 college-age interns who, with the assistance of 800 community volunteers, will serve 450 under-served children and youth in low-income neighborhoods. The interns participate in leadership development and ministry exploration while working with churches to provide community-oriented programs focused on literacy development.
