Successful Appeal Preserves $470,000 Jury Verdict

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals issued its opinion in Corley v. Wal-Mart Stores East, LLP on January 4, 2016.  The Court affirmed the jury verdict in favor of an injured shopper, resulting in an award of more than $470,000 to the injured client.  Donald Capparella and Elizabeth Sitgreaves were counsel on appeal.  The Court’s opinion can be viewed here.
