Yarbro Named Managing Partner

March 26, 2018

We are pleased to announce Tyler Chance Yarbro as managing partner of the firm.

For 30 years, the bedrock principle of our firm has been that lawyers should be community-minded problem-solvers. Tyler typifies that model. She has earned the respect and admiration of our firm, our clients, and the Nashville community, and we are delighted to have her fill this role.

Founding partner Margaret L. Behm previously served as managing partner and will continue her full-time practice of law as Yarbro assumes administrative responsibilities.

Tyler represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of employment matters. In addition to employment and business law, her litigation practice involves disputes relating to personal injury, criminal, and probate matters. She joined the firm in 2011, from the Nashville’s Metropolitan Public Defender’s Office, where she represented thousands of clients and handled numerous jury trials. Tyler also teaches trial advocacy at Vanderbilt Law School.

In 2017, she was nominated appointed by the Metro Council to the Greenways and Open Space Commission. Previously, she served on the Community Corrections Advisory Board for nine years. She also serves on the YWCA Advocacy Committee and on the board of directors of Rooftop Nashville.

A three-time Nashville Business Journal “Best of the Bar” honoree, Tyler has been selected by her peers for inclusion in the The Best Lawyers in America© 2018 in the fields of Employment Law (Management and Individuals) and Litigation—Labor and Employment. Each year since 2014, the Tennessee Supreme Court has named her an “Attorney for Justice,” signifying that she has devoted at least 50 hours a year to pro bono legal work.

We proudly trace our roots to some of the city’s most respected law firms and legal leaders, and we are pleased to have Tyler continue that tradition.
