Successful Appeal Preserves Jury Verdict against Railroad Company

The Tennessee Court of Appeals issued its opinion allowing Linda J. Russell to recover for the death of her husband, who developed cancer while working as a mechanic for Illinois Central Railroad Company in Memphis.  A jury awarded Mrs. Russell $3.3 million stemming from her husband’s work-related death, and the Court of Appeals affirmed the verdict. Donald Capparella served as co-counsel for Mrs. Russell.
