Sitgreaves Leads Seminar on Appellate Practice Basics

Elizabeth Sitgreaves was a featured presenter at the Tennessee Bar Association’s annual CLE seminar August 13-15 at the Tennessee Bar Center in Nashville, Tennessee.  Her presentation, “Appellate Practice Basics,” provided lawyers with an overview of the rules of appellate practice as well as practice-pointers on effective brief-writing and oral argument.

Sitgreaves currently serves as chair of the Nashville Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee.  Her areas of practice include litigation with a focus on handling appeals, providing general business advice to clients, and counseling governmental agencies on a wide variety of matters.
