Dodson Parker Joins Nashville Bar Association for Annual Law Day Lunch

Dodson Parker Behm & Capparella, PC was pleased to be among the local firms sponsoring the Nashville Bar Association’s annual Law Day Luncheon, held May 3 at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville. This year’s theme was “Free Speech, Free Press, Free Society,” and featured a keynote address by the Honorable Martha Craig Daughtrey, Senior United States Circuit Judge for the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Law Day was established by President Eisenhower in 1958, and Congress established May 1 as Law Day by joint resolution passed in 1961 and later codified in the U.S. Code. Law Day provides an opportunity to understand how law and the legal process protect our liberty, strive to achieve justice, and contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share.
