Capparella Joins Lipscomb Panel on “To Kill A Mockingbird”
Lipscomb University Theatre, in conjunction with Lipscomb’s Christian Scholars Conference study on racial justice, recently sponsored a limited engagement of a stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s classic To Kill a Mockingbird. On June 11, Donald Capparella joined a post-show panel including Judge Richard Dinkins, Tennessee Court of Appeals; Randy Spivey, Academic Director of Lipscomb’s Institute for Law, Justice, and Society; and Nashville attorney D. Billye Sanders to discuss the continuing implications of the timeless commentary on race and justice in American society.
